Story At the 14th Effie Awards Uruguay, the Grand Effie, the top award of the night, went to Antel's "Portabilidad Numérica" campaign, developed by the agency Ogilvy Uruguay, a Grupo Punto company.
Gabriel Gurméndez, President of Antel said: “‘Portabilidad Numérica’ was one of the most competitive landscapes for Antel. Working with Grupo Punto as a partner was the key to achieving the loyalty and growth results that we obtained. Antel reaffirmed its leadership in a framework of freedom to choose".
Pablo Marqués, President of Grupo Punto and Ogilvy Uruguay commented: "‘Portabilidad Numérica’ was a great challenge for the agency. We worked on the comprehensive strategy that included product design and development of a business strategy".
For his part, Bruno Petcho, Director of Grupo Punto and Ogilvy Uruguay added: "This campaign is an annual communication strategy aimed at maintaining Antel’s leadership. We managed to get Antel to reverse a negative forecast and improve its business".
