Story | This commercials features Jacob the Baker, a cheeky chappy miniature baker driving his little baker’s van. He’s on a mission to spread his infectious passion for baking and convince you to swap your boring, tasteless, dull snacks for something a little more wholesome, baked and tasty with the strapline line ‘Snack Happy’. The character ‘Jacob the Baker’ was inspired by a real-life baker at the Jacob’s bakery in Aintree, Liverpool –54 year-old John Roughneen. Local baker John has overseen the baking of the nation’s favourite snacks and crackers at the Jacob’s factory for 31 years. |
