Story | Despite research showing Italians wanting to have babies, the lack of public and workplace policies in support of parenting has resulted in an unstoppable decline in natality, prospecting the country for an economic and social collapse.Plasmon, a Kraft-Heinz Italian company leader in baby food, decided to show Italians their darkest future.2050: Adamo is the last baby ever born in Italy. We told his story through an emotional mockumentary, in which the lines between reality and fiction were blurred. Adamo is shown growing up alone, in a country with no more schools, empty parks, and unused delivery rooms.The campaign has been launched with an event screening, in the presence of company decision-makers, asking them to rethink their parental policies.Adamo's story drew the attention of opinion leaders, journalists, 100 Italian companies and, more importantly, institutions.In response to Adamo’s campaign, the Government established a Self-Discipline Code for Private Companies, introducing new corporate standards supporting parenting. |
