As many parents know, young people are spending more time on screens and less time reading. With this in mind, the Singapore National Library Board and the agency Le Pub APAC have found a way to lure youngsters back to books. Thanks to artificial intelligence, specifically ChatGPT, the library can transform literary works into interactive adventure games. Not only do the games respect the plots of the books, but through dynamic interaction, players can influence the course of the story. The AI adapts the narrative to the player's choices and generates images, creating a rich, multi-sensory experience. By gamifying the reading process, “Playbrary” aims to rhyme “book” with “cool”.
